Requirements for YouTube Channels
For YouTube content creators interested in joining our Creator Program, your channel must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 30,000 or more subscribers for gaming channels with frequent new Minecraft-focused content.
- 100,000 or more subscribers for channels with infrequent new Minecraft-focused content but frequent gaming-focused content. Channels without a significant gaming focus will be considered on a case-by-case basis, provided they have at least this many subscribers.
- 1000+ views on all videos/streams within a few days of publication. This requirement increases as the frequency and regularity of uploads decrease. Shorts content is exempt from this requirement, as we expect them to have significantly higher average viewership.
- An active YouTube channel that produces original content of reasonable quality on a regular basis.
- Uploaded Minecraft-related videos, including some Hypixel Network-related content that is publicly viewable. In rare instances, exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
- No content uploaded that violates our general content guidelines.
Please note that meeting these requirements does not guarantee membership in our Creator Program or any associated ranks. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
YouTube Streams
If you primarily create stream-based content, please ensure that your past streams are available for review. They don’t need to be publicly listed on your channel, but there should be a playlist of unlisted streams that we can access either publicly or through a provided link. Without relevant content for our initial review, we may decline your application. Merely stating that you stream is not sufficient if we cannot review the content.
YouTube Shorts
Currently, purely shorts-focused channels are ineligible for the YOUTUBE rank. We consider shorts to be supplementary to long-form content and expect regular uploads or streams of long-form content alongside shorts production. Compilations or highlights of shorts content are not considered long-form content.
Meeting the requirements alone does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
How to Apply
If your YouTube channel meets the requirements mentioned above, you can find out how to submit an application to join our Creator Program by visiting the Mr Reviews Creator Program Application Guide. Please note that meeting the requirements does not guarantee a rank on the Hypixel Network. All ranks are decided on a case-by-case basis following thorough reviews by the Hypixel administration team.
Requirements for Streamers
We may also consider giving ranks to streamers on platforms like Twitch (specifically for YouTube streamers, refer to the above requirements), depending on various factors and at our discretion. While we don’t provide a detailed list of requirements for streamers on different platforms due to variations between platforms, we do expect the following as a minimum:
- 30,000 or more followers (or equivalent) gained legitimately. Followers obtained through “paid follower,” follow bot, or similar services will not be counted. If someone else has used such services for your channel, please inform us during the application process.
- 50 or more concurrent viewers during your streams on average (not just a one-time peak). The specific number may vary depending on the streaming platform’s popularity.
- An active and regular streaming schedule. You should stream on a scheduled and predictable basis, rather than on rare and unpredictable occasions. We review your streams when considering these ranks, so the ability to review your streams is crucial. We expect to see evidence of your streaming history at the time of application. Failure to provide a reasonable amount of archived, previously streamed content may result in automatic rejection.
- Streaming gaming-focused content frequently and regularly, including some Minecraft-focused content. While minimal amounts of streamed Minecraft content are required, it is not necessary for all streams to be Minecraft-focused.
As with YouTube channels, meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into our Creator Program. All applications are reviewed individually.
How to Apply
If you believe you meet the requirements outlined above and want to apply for our Creator Program, there are two ways to do so:

Visit the Mr Reviews Support Site and select the “Creator Program (YOUTUBE Rank) Application” option from the “What kind of help do you need?” menu. We recommend creating an account to keep track of your application easily and access our Creator Program/YOUTUBE rank guides if accepted. Please ensure you provide all the necessary information for a successful application, including the platforms your channels are on, your current in-game name, and other relevant details.

If you prefer to email your application, send it to [email protected]. Use the subject line “Creator Program Application – [Platforms]” (e.g., “Creator Program Application – YouTube, Twitch”). Include all the relevant details, such as your channel links, in the email body.

Hypixel Rules, Punishments & Creators
Content creators on our server are not exempt from our rules. In fact, we hold them to an even higher standard as public figures and representatives of our community. Creators are seen as role models by other players, so it’s important they familiarize themselves with our network rules, which apply to our Minecraft server, forums, Discord server, and other services. You can find our rules on our website.
For applicants, we expect creators to be in “good standing” with us regarding previous incidents. While past punishments may not necessarily disqualify an application, recent violations, excessive incidents, and extreme rule violations will affect eligibility.
Reporting Rule Violating Creators
If you come across a member of our Creator Program who is breaking the rules on our server or behaving inappropriately outside our community, please report them to us. You can submit a request on our support site, selecting the “Creator Queries” option, or email us at [email protected] with the subject “Creator Program Member Report.”
